Nia Hamm joined WNYT as a reporter in 2016. Nia is a graduate of Rutgers University as well as Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She is also a New Jersey native. Nia enjoys working out both as a means of staying fit and sane, reading inspirational books and getting lost in large parks. Prior to working for WNYT, Nia worked as a freelance reporter for News 12 Networks in the Bronx and Brooklyn. She also worked as a producer for CNBC News and Fox News as well as a writer for CBS Radio and various publications.
