Open house planned at former Catskill Game Farm

Memories are the attraction at a former zoo in the Capital Region this weekend.

The owners of the former Catskill Game Farm are opening their gates this Sunday for self-guided tours of the 150 acres. The animals haven’t been there since it closed in 2006 but many of the buildings and signs and unique features remain.

The owners of the land on Game Farm Road in Catskill say people keep finding their way there, bringing back pleasant memories of its 84 years in operation.
