A dog found abandoned in Greene County in January will be adopted this weekend. "Penny" goes to her new "forever" home on Saturday.

In January, the pitbull mix showed up at a home after investigators say she was dumped on the side of the road. Penny had a number of cuts and skin infections. She was treated at the Columbia-Greene Humane Society and has recovered.
