Philmont man charged with Claverack robbery

CLAVERACK -- A Philmont man is facing a felony burglary charge.

Police say 26-year-old Jason Calderon forced his way into a home in Claverack on April 17 by cutting out the screen to a window. Police say Calderon was looking for prescription medication.

Calderon was arraigned at the Town of Claverack court and sent to the Columbia County Jail. He's due back in court on May 16.
