On Friday, the department posted a plea for help on their Facebook page. They say they know there were witnesses, and they want them to come forward.

The post says, in part: “This is not about snitching, ratting, or telling on someone. This is not about your pride or your fear. It’s about justice. This is about doing what’s right, period.”

Anyone with information should contact Detective Matos at 413-448-9700 ext. 390.
