Plow gets stuck in hilltowns

BERNE - Road conditions were treacherous in many spots on Friday. A state of emergency has been declared in Berne.

One area hit hard is the hilltowns. In fact, at one point a plow ended up in a ditch on Delaware Turnpike in Berne. It took a couple of neighbors, another snowplow and the sheriff's deputies to get that plow back on the road again.

Another car also went off the road. That caused other cars to stop as things were cleaned up. However, those cars then got stuck because they lost their momentum getting up the hill.

Tons and tons of deputies are ready to assist. However, the best advice is always to stay off the roads if you don't have to be on them.
