QUEENSBURY - A postal carrier from Warren County is credited with saving the lives of two motorists, who narrowly missed being crushed by a falling tree limb.

NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Post-Star newspaper report John Richichi was delivering mail in Queensbury Tuesday when he heard a cracking sound.

He realized it was coming from a tree right next to him.

So, he ran into the middle of the road and stopped a car just as the huge limb fell to the ground.

The mother and son inside the car, thanked Richichi, and called him their guardian angel.
