GLOVERSVILLE - Protestors in Gloversville are calling for their mayor to resign. They were holding a demonstration on Tuesday evening.
State police say Dayton King used his position as mayor to gain access to his election opponent's personnel file. They say he then released that information on the air during a debate on a local radio station.
King's opponent, William Rowback Jr., was first declared winner in the race, until the Board of Elections noticed a mistake in the counting.
King has been charged with official misconduct. He's due in court on December 20.
