A judge has ordered a psychological evaluation for the man accused of killing a Glens Falls woman and her 4-year-old daughter.
Bryan Redden was arraigned Wednesday morning on an eight-count indictment. He's charged with first-degree murder in the Friday morning deaths of Crystal Riley and her daughter, Lilly Frasier.
Judge John Hall recommended a mental health evaluation and the 21-year-old consented.
Hall sent him to jail without bail.
If Redden is convicted of first-degree murder, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without parole.
Outside court, Redden did not respond to questions from NewsChannel 13’s Mark Mulholland.
