Police: Man riding around in Albany with sawed-off shotgun in pants

ALBANY - Imagine riding around in a car with a sawed-off shotgun in your pants. Albany police say Raymeir Worthen of Troy was doing just that.

Around 5:30 Monday night, officers stopped a vehicle on Lark Street driven by Alton Franklin of Albany. They say Franklin had a gravity knife on the armrest and Worthen had a loaded shotgun inside his waistband and down his pant leg.

Both are charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Worthen is also charged with marijuana possession.
