Cohoes man admits to Father's Day murder

COHOES - A Cohoes man has admitted to a Father’s Day murder.

Richard Duckett, 20, shot Terrance Roberts, 46, in the side and head during a fight on Delaware Street in Albany.

The district attorney’s office says the firearm was unlicensed.

Duckett faces 20 years to life in prison when sentenced on February 1.

Two other people Duckett was with, Jasmine and Brittany Mingo, are accused of helping him escape. They are due in court on January 2.
