Police probe Stewart's robberies in Schenectady County

ROTTERDAM -- Police in Schenectady County are investigating two Stewart's robberies.

The most recent one happened in the Rotterdam location at 672 Mariaville Road.

Police say a man entered the store around 5 a.m. Friday, displayed a knife, and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.  There were no injuries reported. 

Police describe the suspect as a dark skinned man about six feet tall. They say he was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers with white trim.  He was last seen fleeing on foot towards Mariaville Road.

This follows a Thursday evening robbery at the Stewart's on Erie Boulevard in Schenectady.
