Woman accused of extinguishing cigarettes in young child's hands

STUYVESANT - Police say a Stuyvesant woman was using a 7-year-old child as an ashtray.

Sabrina Rawlins, 31, now faces assault and child endangerment charges.

State police say she extinguished cigarettes in the child's hands.

She was sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of bail.
