Schenectady man accused of sexually abusing child

GHENT -- A Schenectady man is behind bars, accused of sexually abusing a child. 20-year-old Logan Burnett was arrested Saturday morning.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office says the abuse occurred between 2011 and 2014 in the town of Ghent when the victim was between seven and nine years old. A family member found out and reported it to a deputy.

Burnett is charged with criminal sexual act. The investigation is ongoing. Sheriff David Bartlett would like anyone who may know of other potential victims of Burnett to call 518-828-3344.
