Schenectady man arrested after Amsterdam police chase

A man from Schenectady is in custody after a police chase on Sunday.
Brandon Delavallade was taken into custody early Sunday morning.
State police had been pursuing his vehicle in Amsterdam, said the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy spotted the car later that day, and followed it to a driveway in the town of Perth. The deputy chased the driver on foot through three properties, and into the woods.
Delavallade was found hiding under a porch on Dutch Church Road in Perth, said investigators.
He has an active violent felony warrant out of Schenectady.
