Schenectady man sentenced for falsely reporting incident

SCHENECTADY – Andrew King of Schenectady was sentenced Tuesday for falsely reporting an incident.

In February, King told police that vandals had defaced his home with swastikas. One month later, he admitted he made the story up and he was responsible for the swastikas.

King was given three years probation.
