Schenectady police arrest robbery suspect

SCHENECTADY -- Police have made an arrest in connection to a string of armed robberies in the city.

Police arrested 39-year-old Victor Mattson of Schenectady on Tuesday afternoon. He's accused of recent robberies at Dollar General, Rite Aid, Family Dollar and CVS.

Mattson has been charged with robbery with the display of a firearm, a felony. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest.
