Schenectady restaurants put chicken wings to the test

SCHENECTADY -- Restaurants on State Street were putting their best foot forward on Saturday - and their best wings.

The sixth annual Schenectady Wing Walk got underway Saturday afternoon. Twenty of the city's downtown restaurants offered up their best chicken wings and specialty sauces for people to eat, enjoy, and judge.

“We're serving our holy trinity,” said Tony DiCarlo of Katie O’Byrnes. “Without giving too much away, it’s a trio of our garlic parm, barbeque and medium sauce. It’s all combined. You get sweet and hot at the same time.”

Judges were able to drop off their ballots at the Proctors box office. NewsChannel 13 will let you know who was crowned "King of the Wing" on Live at 11.
