HUDSON FALLS - Severe storms blew through parts of the Capital Region on Monday. There was significant damage reported in Washington County.
A Hudson Falls resident NewsChannel 13 spoke with says it was like a little monsoon came down. A power pole was bent over at Route 196 near Cumberland Farms. Several trees also came down. It’s expected to take a while to cleanup.
Some businesses lost power. One neighbor says he ran out with a chainsaw right after the storm and started cutting down trees on roads in the area, but the situation on Route 196 was just too much.
