September 15, 2017 06:43 PM

Clifton Park residents may be headed back to the polls in December, as Shenendehowa tries again to unload 32 acres of undeveloped land in the town.

In April, voters shot down a $2 million sale to a developer that wanted to build a ShopRite supermarket on the site.

Since then, the district has been working on a deal to sell the land to Clifton Park. Supervisor Phil Barrett tells NewsChannel 13 they've made significant progress.

A district spokesperson says they expect to announce specific details next week -- including the sale price and the intended use for those 32 acres.
