Albany sixth grader suspended for bringing BB gun to school

ALBANY - The Albany School District says a sixth grader tried to bring an unloaded BB gun into O’Neal Middle School on Thursday.

The gun was found when the student went through a metal detector on the way into school.

Security staff confiscated the weapon.

The boy is now suspended.
