QUEENSBURY - This is a big week for ski resorts in the area because it's February break.

West Mountain in Queensbury was packed on Monday. It was so busy, tubing was booked for most of the day and skiers were also loving the conditions.

Owner Spencer Montgomery tells NewsChannel 13 despite temperatures likely rising into the 60s later this week, they expect business to boom.

"I would normally be concerned if we hadn't made so much snow. People love spring skiing conditions. We can't normally offer that type of spring skiing during President's Day week, so right now it's a big hit," explained Montgomery.

Montgomery says by the end of the week, he expects business to be outpacing last year's numbers.
