'So Outdoorsy' takes the work out of camping so you can relax

SARATOGA - Erin Signer enjoys camping so much she's happy to do the hard part.

"It is a lot of work, especially for a weekend. I just want people to camp. I'm passionate about it and I love it," explained Signer from her backyard.

For a fee, she's happy to do it for you, too.  So Outdoorsy, based in Saratoga, will book your site and set it up. So when you arrive the tent is ready, the queen bed is made, chairs are unfolded and lanterns, solar lights and even pots, dishes and a stove can be ready to go.

"You can just show up with clothes and food and camp for a week if you want."

Prices depend on amenities and length of stay. So Outdoorsy is ideal for people who have never camped and don't have the gear or the space to store it, young families who don't want the headache or seniors looking to take it easy.

"I want people to camp and if I do the hard part, you get to do the advertised part - the relaxation."

And while repeat business would be great, instilling a love of nature is the ultimate goal.

"If people fall in love and get gear and I never see them again, it's like a butterfly, it's great."
