Dozens bowl in Latham to help hurricane victims

LATHAM - Dozens of bowlers came out Sunday to help the victims of hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.

The Spare Time Bowling Alley held a Bowl-a-Thon fundraiser. With thousands of people still picking up the pieces from a historically rough hurricane season, organizers say they wanted to do their part to help their fellow Americans down south.

All money raised in the event is being donated through NewsChannel 13 and Price Chopper/Market 32’s "Your Help Counts" campaign.
