State Police uncover large pot operation in Hillsdale

HILLSDALE - The New York State Police uncovered a large marijuana grow operation at a home on West End Road on Tuesday.

State Police say they found numerous cannabis plants in various stages of growth and a large quantity of prepared marijuana after executing a search warrant.

James Valentin, 49, is facing numerous drug-related charges. He was arraigned in the town of Claverack court and sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

State Police say they found numerous cannabis plants in various stages of growth and a large quantity of prepared marijuana after executing a search warrant.
