Man arraigned on charges of stealing dead trooper's identity

The Bronx man accused of stealing the identity of a dead state trooper is arraigned in Saratoga County Court.

Police say Steven Calderon tried to make a purchase at a downstate Home Depot with Trooper Timothy Pratt's personal information.

The incident happened the same day as the Trooper's funeral.

Trooper Pratt was hit and killed last October in Wilton while helping a lost trucker. His name was added to the state Police Officer's Memorial in Albany on Tuesday.
