Three people rescued from Wintergreen Park

CANAJOHARIE -- Investigators say three people who had to be rescued from rising waters in a Canajoharie Park on Wednesday night admit they walked around two gates closing the park and ignored no trespassing signs.

About three hours after the park was closed due to the danger of flooding, the three had to be rescued by Canajoharie police in Wintergreen Park.

All of them are said to be fine. They were ticketed for trespassing
