Elephant acts banned from Times Union Center

Elephant acts have been banned from the Times Union Center. The center says the Tarzan Zerbini Circus this past weekend was the last show to have them.

A bill banning elephant acts across New York state has passed the state Senate and Assembly, but hasn’t been signed into law yet.

PETA, which has raised concern about the way the elephants are treated, is praising the decision.
