FORT EDWARD - The Toys for Tots train stopped in Fort Edward on Sunday, the second day of its annual two day run, dropping off toys and winter coats for families in need.

The train is fueled by a $30,000 donation from Dunkin' Donuts, helping to ensure that no kid feels left behind this holiday season.

“This is the spirit of Christmas. It’s our obligation to make a difference and to show these children there is a better tomorrow,” said Gunnery Sgt. Albert Roman Jr., Toys for Tots Capital Region coordinator.

Sunday’s train made its way north from Albany, making additional stops in Saratoga and Whitehall before heading out of the Capital Region.
