75-foot tree strikes painter at Union College

SCHENECTADY - A painter at Union College was hit by a tree Tuesday afternoon.

The college says the 75-foot tree hit the contractor while he was in a lift outside Silliman Hall, an administrative building.

The man works for Tritan Brothers. He was airlifted to Albany Medical Center where his condition is unknown.

No one else was hurt.
