Troy bike plan unveiled Wednesday

TROY – A meeting was held Wednesday night in Troy to present the Troy Bicycle Connections Plan.

The plan outlines a vision for new cycling facilities, and enhancements and connections to existing trails and routes. The meeting was to give residents the chance to ask questions and provide feedback.

“I think it's really important to provide more mobility options. People want to walk, people want to bike, and this plan will help this city make a plan and get there,” said Jen Ceponis of the Capital District Transportation Committee.

“We see a lot of public support for this, and we think its going to make a big difference,” added Gregory Francese of Parks & Trails New York
