Troy police chief to retire in January

Troy police chief John Tedesco is retiring.

Tedesco will leave his post in early January. He's held the position since 2010 and has been in law enforcement for 40 years.

The mayor's office tells NewsChannel 13 two assistant chiefs will run the department and the mayor will look at the replacement process in the new year.
