Public and private businesses, non-profit and for-profit organizations and state agencies will hold workshops and networking opportunities for veterans.

"No group is more worthy of support than our veterans who are transitioning from service," noted Greg Rinckey, with Tully Rinckey PLLC.

"They give you pointers and say, 'Okay, this is some of the areas you need to concentrate, whether it's marketing, whether it's finance, however you want to adjust it,'" explained Robert Duff, a Navy Reservist who opened Salt Den in Latham earlier this year. "With the opportunity that VETCON gave me, I've been open and successful from day one."

The two-day conference will be at the Desmond Hotel and 500 veterans are expected to attend.
