Victim of deadly Albany assault identified

Albany police have identified the victim of a deadly assault.

Lori Milks, 63, was attacked outside the South Mall Towers on Nov. 5, suffering injuries to her head and torso. She later died from her injuries.

The man accused of committing the crime, Gerard Burks, was previously charged with attempted murder. Police say they plan to upgrade those charges.
