Waterford man charged in Walmart shoplifting incident

CLIFTON PARK - A Waterford man is accused of stealing from Walmart and almost hitting an employee who tried to stop him with his car.

The arrest stems from an incident that happened in October.

State police say 54-year-old Tyrone Anderson stole over $1,000 worth of merchandise from the Clifton Park Walmart.

When an employee confronted him in the parking lot, police say Anderson got in his car and almost hit the employee while driving away.

Anderson is in the Saratoga County Jail without bail.
