Ballston Spa school transformed to Dr. Seuss' 'Whoville' for child's wish

BALLSTON SPA - Hayden Kelly, a 12-year-old boy from Ballston Spa, had his wish come true on Thursday afternoon.

Hayden suffers from pulmonary and neurological conditions and uses a wheelchair. He met Santa Claus, the Grinch and other characters from the fictional Dr. Seuss town, Whoville, at Ballston Spa Middle School.

The school's gym was transformed into the fictional town for the party.

Hayden arrived by limo to a celebration filled with people, music and decorations.
