Woman killed in Saratoga County crash

One woman is dead after two cars crashed in Greenfield late Monday night. Two other people were injured.

It happened on Lake Desolation Road around 8 p.m. The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office says a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado was heading east when it crossed the center line and hit a 2008 Ford Focus head-on.

The driver of the Ford, 27-year-old Rachel Drumm of Greenfield, was killed.

Dustin Barnes, 22, of Ballston Spa was behind the wheel of the Silverado. He was airlifted to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries.

A passenger in the Silverado, 28-year-old Jennifer Cook of Ballston Spa, suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
