WATERVLIET - The Women's Guild of Saint Peter Armenian Church held its annual holiday bazaar in Watervliet on Saturday.

There was Armenian food, vendors, and even a visit from Santa Claus. As part of a community outreach project, there was also a volunteer educating people about being an organ donor.

"I was very grateful that I had a hero donate for me,” said heart transplant recipient Dave Gray. “I'm very lucky that someone else signed up and saved my life. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for them."

The bazaar continues Sunday from noon to four. The church is located on Troy-Schenectady Road in Watervliet.
