Police: Would-be Starbucks robber changed mind and left

Albany police say a would-be robber changed his mind.

They say a man passed a note demanding cash to a worker at Starbucks on New Scotland Avenue Friday evening.

No weapon was shown and the man fled on foot without any cash.

He’s described as a white male, 5 feet, 8 inches tall with facial hair. He was last seen with a gray-hooded sweatshirt and black winter hat.
