Vermont man accused of stealing handguns from home

POWNAL, Vt. - A Bennington County man is accused of stealing seven handguns from a home.

Troopers say Zachary Russell broke into a home on Little Brook Lane Wednesday afternoon.

When Russell was found a short time later, investigators say he had 133 bags of heroin with him that had a street value of around $4,000.

He was due to appear in court on Thursday.
