(NBC News) Speculation over Hillary Clinton's vice-presidential pick is growing ahead of next week's Democratic National Convention.

Two sources tell NBC News Clinton will name her running mate sometime Friday following a campaign stop in Orlando, Florida.

Many observers believe Clinton will pick Senator Tim Kaine. He's a first term Virginia senator, former governor, fluent in Spanish, and close to Clinton. She's already said Kaine is capable of stepping in as president.

Others considered this week include Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker.

NewsChannel 13's Benita Zahn will be at the convention in Philadelphia. You can catch her LIVE reports all week starting Monday.
