Olympian with local ties early favorite for 2018

The 2018 Winter Olympics are only six months away. While Team USA is still taking shape, gold medal-winning skier Mikaela Shiffrin, who has family in Berkshire County and Albany, is a heavy favorite to win multiple medals in South Korea.

"Based off of my results this season, my goals for the Olympics are to win medals and coming up short of that, it would end up being -- you know, I’d call that not a failure, but just a bad day, bad races, or a bad series of races," she explained.
