There was a fine defensive play in the minor leagues Monday worthy of major league attention.

With a man on third and two outs, the remarkable play kept the ValleyCats from taking a lead in the 1-1 ballgame.

It was such an impressive grab, the ValleyCats showcased it on their stadium Jumbotron and on their Twitter feed.

Nichting said his fall into the seats didn't hurt until the game ended. His IronBirds ended up losing the game 4-3.
