BENNINGTON, Vt. - There was a celebration in Bennington, Vermont for a wrestling team. The Mount Anthony Union High School wrestling team won its 30th consecutive state championship last weekend. No other high school wrestling team in the world has achieved this milestone.

A parade and ceremony were held at the school. Coach Brian Koon says it's not just the wrestlers who deserve recognition.

"These kids put a tremendous amount of work into it and the parents don't get enough credit -- all those early mornings and late nights. Wrestling is unlike any sport," explained Coon.

U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy's office sent a flag to the team that has flown over the U.S. Capitol along with a certificate. The flag will be flown over the high school.
