Capital Region high schoolers take on climate change

MALTA - Capital Region high school students gathered in Malta Wednesday to take on climate change.

Hudson Valley Community College's TEC-SMART campus is hosting a two-day symposium on how we can all do our part to reduce climate change.

Students heard from nationally recognized experts.

The kids are encouraged to bring real-life plans for reducing carbon emissions back to their schools or communities.

The symposium continues on Thursday.
