FIRST is a non-profit that is meant to engage students in science and technology.

“Most of the best new jobs that are going to be created in this country in the next few years are in the STEM fields and programs like those offered by FIRST really focus on getting young people excited about STEM programming technology,” said Pace University professor Rick Kline.

Teams were competing for a chance to advance to the regional championships at Pace University next month.
