One home had to be evacuated after a gas leak in Bethlehem this morning.

National Grid spokesman Patrick Stella said a third-party contractor dug into a half-inch gas pipe at around 11:15 a.m. near 430 Delaware Ave. in Bethlehem. One home lost gas service.

The repairs have been completed. Service was restored around 1:30 p.m.
