A Niskayuna woman is celebrating a big milestone.

Sen. Jim Tedisco is honoring Esfir Dolginova, as she celebrates her 102nd birthday.

Dolginova immigrated to the United States with her husband and family from Russia in 1993, Tedisco said.

She survived what is considered the longest military siege in history: the siege of Leningrad during World War II.
