Mobile home a total loss in Mohawk fire

The Town of Mohawk Fire Department says a mobile home is a total loss after a structure fire Friday night.

Fire officials say they responded to 204 Old Johnstown Road around 6:23 p.m.

Mutual aid was requested at the scene.

Mohawk Fire says the fire was caused by an electrical malfunction.

Authorities were at the scene until about 8:30 p.m. when they were fully able to put the fire out.

They say the occupant of the home suffered minor injuries.
