Boil Water Order lifted in Whitehall, water emergency continues
Officials from the Village of Whitehall say the boil water order has been lifted, effective as of 12 p.m. Sunday.
They say the Water Emergency remains in effect for the village.
The Village says water testing within their drinking water system over the last two days has resulted in the lifting of the boil water order.
Officials say residents can return to consumptive use of water, however anyone with medical ailments or compromised immune systems should follow their doctor’s orders.
Despite the boil water order being lifted, authorities urge residents to conserve water, as emergency water restrictions remain in effect.
The Village emphasizes that the water emergency is not over, and the water supply still requires conservation measures.
